Data we process and why

The form collects your name, email, message and enquiry context: page, section, service, plan, language and selected billing option where relevant. We use these to reply, prepare proposals and manage our professional relationship. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing lists.

Legal basis and retention

Enquiries and quotations are handled to take pre-contractual steps requested by the individual. Contracted services are managed to perform the contract and meet legal obligations. Data is kept as long as necessary for these purposes and, where applicable, statutory retention and liability periods.

Providers and third parties

The form uses Amazon Web Services (Lambda and Amazon SES, Stockholm region) to process enquiries and Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated submissions. These providers may receive data needed for their services, such as form content and technical connection data. Videos connect to Vimeo only when you choose to load them. Some of these providers are based in the United States. If any data leaves the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider has joined it, or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and included in its data processing terms.

Measuring visits and enquiries

If you accept statistics, Google Analytics processes website usage, visited pages, language and successful enquiry events to help us evaluate website performance. Processing relies on consent, which you can withdraw in cookie preferences. We do not link this data with your name, email or enquiry content. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited. If data is processed in the United States, the transfer relies on the same safeguards described in the previous section.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable by emailing jose@josecabello.net. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting prior lawfulness. Complaints may be submitted to the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
